As can be seen the weekend of the 22, 23, and 24 of October is a busy weekend.  It is known as development weekend.  No regular league games will be scheduled.

The INTRO Coach is a short course for those wishing to coach at the IP and Novice levels.  Coaches in these programs must take this course regardless of other levels they might have. 

Coach 1 is the level required for all levels of A hockey and assistants at AA

Development 1 is required for all AAA coaches and the head coaches of AA.  The assistants at AA do not have to have Development 1 this year, but must next year.

The Hockey PEI rule states that if certification is not in place by DEC. 31, 2010 then you are not eligible to coach.

Respect in Sport is an on line course which can be completed as a substitute for Speakout.  Alternatively, you can take the Speakout if you require it.  Speakout/Respect in Sport is also a requirement for all coaches, managers, and trainers.  Some of the Coach clinics have Speakout imbedded in the class.  Please refer to Hockey PEI website for all details.
