Coaching Development - 5v5 Systems with Andrew Brewer

Hockey PEI has scheduled a free coach development session with Andrew Brewer of 200 Foot Coaching on Wednesday, January 12th at 8:00 pm (the website will say 7:00pm EST).

This session is going to cover 5v5 systems in the NHL and will be free to all Hockey PEI Minor and High Performance coaches. In this overview course, the basics of team structure at even strength in the NHL will be covered. Reviewing in detail the systems that NHL teams use, we will discuss why teams play the way they do, and how you can adjust for your level of coaching.

Overview:

• Offensive & defensive zone play
• Forechecking
• Zone entries & exits
• Neutral zone play with & without the puck

This 200 Foot Coaching Development session will feature current Florida Panthers Assistant Coach, Andrew Brewer.
