On-Ice Cohort Timing Change at Bell Aliant Centre
2021-01-15Cohorts must arrive and enter together 30 minutes prior to their ice time, and leave together 20 minutes after their ice time.
Beginning today, January 15th, 2021, there are changes to the Bell Aliant Centre's operational plan.
On-ice cohorts must now enter the arena together 30 minutes prior to their ice times and exit the arena together 20 minutes after their ice times. This timing change is not optional - cohorts must enter 30 minutes before and exit 20 minutes after, otherwise cohorts will cross paths. The promise of sticking to the schedule was a key factor in the approval of these changes.
Now, for example, if your ice time is at 6:30 pm, your ice cohort enters at 6:00 pm, is contact traced, and heads directly to the assigned rooms, not leaving the dressing room until 6:30 pm to take the ice. Your group will leave the ice at 7:30 pm, proceed to the dressing rooms, and exit the building at 7:50 pm.
