U18 A Announcement

Good evening players and families.

A couple of updates to share: 
League meetings with Hockey PEI are taking place on November 5th, we expect to be provided a league start up date shortly thereafter that we will then share with the group. 

SPRMHA and CMHA are pleased to continue our spirit of collaboration this coming season to share resources for the U18 age group to enable us to ice 4 combined Central teams. 2 will operate with Charlottetown home ice, and 2 will operate out of Sherwood home ice. This has been a practice that we have utilized for the past number of seasons, it has worked well to put forth balanced and competitive teams out of the combined Charlottetown/Sherwood associations whereas numbers would prove challenging to put together teams operating separately. 

2020 has thrown many obstacles our way, however, we are feeling optimistic that working together we can enjoy a successful season. We have had several meetings with the goal of creating balanced U18 teams as a group, which has proven challenging with AAA & AA tryouts being extended, we appreciate everyone's patience during this process. We plan to have 2 inter-association refereed scrimmages tomorrow night with the team lists noted below. Once the AA team is finalized, we will do some final roster adjustments as needed to balance out the teams. Again, we appreciate your patience and understanding, this hasn't been a normal year, but we will do our best to make it a fun and successful season for all.
