Important: COVID-19 Protocol Reminder

Hello everyone! We have had a good first week or so of ice times. Thank you to everyone for understanding and adjusting to the new protocols at each rink.

A few reminders and things to consider:

• Everyone who arrives for the ice time must sign in with a contact tracer at the door. If no contact tracer is present, you may not enter the rink.
• Players are to show up to the rink with as much equipment on as possible. Many players do not have an issue arriving in full gear and skate guards. Although some rinks assign dressing rooms, users are encouraged to limit time spent in dressing rooms by arriving already dressed.
• Players are to only show up 15 minutes before their scheduled ice time.
• Parents are not allowed to stay in the rink during the ice times.
• For younger divisions (U7, U9), parents may enter to help their child finish getting dressed/undressed. Parents are strongly encouraged not to enter the rink.
• If a parent does enter the rink to help their child, parents must leave immediately after helping their child. Too many parents are lingering before and after ice times.

We are still in Phase 2 of Hockey PEI's Return to Hockey plan.

If members of our Association do not follow the protocols outlined by Hockey PEI and each facility, the entire Association risks being shut down. Again, thank you for understanding as we all continue to make adjustments!
