U9/U11 AA Tryouts and U13/U15/U18 AAA Tryout Times Announced

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, protocols, and restrictions within our facilities, the number of participants on the ice at one time is limited. As a result, the tryout schedule is subject to change, depending on the number of registrants. We ask that you monitor your emails to pre-register for the applicable division's tryouts as soon as possible after pre-registration information is provided.
When attending an ice time, we request that you follow the guidelines below. Failure to do so may result in your child losing ice time, as we as an association must follow guidelines provided by the CPHO and Hockey PEI or else risk being shut down association-wide indefinitely.
As of right now, U11 AA is accepting pre-registrations:

We are excited to get the 2020-21 minor hockey season underway and would like to ask everyone interested in trying out for U11 AA to pre-register by emailing Brodie Langille. Please provide us with the player’s name, preferred position and contact information (parent's name, email address, and phone number).
The first phase of tryouts will consist of 3 tryout sessions at a cost of $30.

We want everyone to understand that playing Atom AA has an extra cost and time commitment. As a result, an additional rep fee is budgeted for at the first of the year on a per player basis. Amounts are not known at this time, but historically it can be approximately $500 to $600.
All players attending must be registered with Charlottetown Minor Hockey for the 2020-21 season and must pay for the tryout fee ($30) prior to the first ice time or they will not be permitted on the ice. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Brodie Langille.

- We ask that players show up to the rink as close to fully dressed as possible.
- Participants are to only show up to the rink 15 minutes before the ice time.
- According to the operational plans in place within the CMHA and at the rinks we use, parents are not permitted to stay in the rink for ice times.
- Where necessary, parents may enter the rink to help their child finish getting dressed (i.e. tie skates), but the parent must then exit the rink for the duration of the ice time.
- You and/or your child are not to enter the rink until you have self-screened and signed in with the volunteer at the door for contact tracing purposes.
- Parents must wait outside the arena to pick up their child.
