Bantam A Charlottetown Abbies Team 2 Wins the Pownal Rodd Hotels and Resorts Tournament

Charlottetown Abbies Bantam A Team 2 were able to secure their second tournament win of the year over the weekend.
Charlottetown Abbies Bantam A Team 2 were able to secure their second tournament win of the year while attending the Pownal Rodd Hotels and Resort Tournament.
The Abbies went undefeated over the weekend, beating out a deep field of both local and off-island teams. During round robin play, the Abbies defeated Pownal Team 3 by a score of 4-2, the Bedford Coyotes 5-0, and Pownal Team 4 by a score of 7-1. The Abbies then had to prepare for probably their toughest opponent of the tournament in Charlottetown Abbies Team 1. After a hard fought battle by both teams, the Abbies Team 2 were able to secure a 3-1 victory. The win allowed the Abbies to move onto the finals and face the Dieppe-Memracook Aigles, ultimately winning the tournament with a 2-0 win!
Players include: Ethan Alexander, Sam Casford, Liam Craig, Nathan Farrell, Nicholas Fong, Kelen Gillis, Owen Griffin, Nicholas Harris, Reegan MacAulay, Max MacIsaac, Cohen Munn, and Zack O’Meara. The team is coached by Mike O’Meara, Thane Craig and Chris Harris.
