CMHA Teams Win Big on the Weekend!

Bantam AA Central Attack and Bantam AAA Central Storm win in Early Bird; Bantam AAA Central Attack win Monctonian.

It was a big weekend of tournaments for Charlottetown Minor Hockey Association teams.

Bantam AAA Central Attack
The Bantam AAA Central Attack started their tournament appearances with a showing in Moncton for the Monctonian Challenge. The Attack blanked Dartmouth in its first game, and rounded out its round robin with a win against the Truro Bearcats and a tie against the Northwest Bulls. The Attack then moved to playoff action, where the team beat the Port City Sharks and The Gulls before moving to the final against the historically strong ACA Rangers. The game ended with a Cam Squires goal in triple overtime, leading the Attack to a 2-1 win and the championship title.

Players include: Brett Arsenault, Daimyan Boyle, Keegan Callaghan, Jamie Collins, Luke Coughlin, Jackson Howatt, Colby Huggan, Chris Koughan, Bates Ling, Landon Macdonald, Jonah Macdonald, Will Morrison, Nathan Mossey, Max Sentner, Cameron Squires, Isaac Voc, Kal White, and Tyler Worth. The team is coached by Jeff Squires, KJ White, and Chris Hedefine, and is managed by Mark Arsenault.

Bantam AAA Central Storm
The Bantam AAA Central Storm was a strong 2-1 in round robin play in the Early Bird Tournament, boosted by a shutout in the first game. In the semifinals, the Storm faced off against the Northern Panthers, winning 3-1 to advance to the finals with the Mid-Isle Wildcats. In a nail-biting final, the Storm edged the Wildcats by a score of 1-0 to win the championship. 

Players include: Kerry Anderson, Miranda Anderson, Kayla Batchilder, Ava Burgoyne, Clare Craig, Bella Doyle, Molly Doyle, Lindsey Drover, Kate Ford, Jorja Hambly, Katie Hughes, Grace Larkin, Olivia Lawlor, Kailey Lutley, Maggie Mullins, and Brooke Walsh. The team is coached by Keith Ford and managed by Mike Lutley.

Bantam AA Central Attack
The Bantam AA Central Attack had a solid weekend, going undefeated through the entire Early Bird Tournament. In the round robin, the Attack shutout Gulf Storm, Kent-Sud, and Lancaster on its way to a semifinal matchup against the Lancaster Thunder. The Attack defeated the Thunder 2-1 in the semifinals, and played a thrilling championship game, beating the Moncton Hawks 1-0 to win the title.

Players include: Brayden Bailey, Jack Dickie, Caleb Gagné, Ryan Harper, Nolan Hughes, Darian Jameson, Cameron Jennings-Hughes, Alex Koughan, Izak Longley, Thomas MacAdam, Tate MacDougall, Andrew MacIntyre, Eric McCashion, Landon Perry, Jack Roberts, Keegan Rush-Germaine, Nathan Silliphant, Victor Steele, and Creegan Tompkins. The team is coached by Morgan Rice, Josh Beaton, John MacDougall, Ryan Trowsdale, and Will Parker.
