Important: George Trainor Holiday Classic Call for Volunteers
2018-10-28The George Trainor Holiday Classic needs committee members in order to continue in future years.
The George Trainor Holiday Classic Hockey Tournament will be played this year December 27th to 29th, 2018, and new committee members are needed to ensure the future of this high-level house league tournament.
The tournament that has given back to "A" level hockey players for 13 years needs new committee volunteers to continue operations. New committee volunteers will shadow existing committee members, whose kids haven't played for several years, to gain the expertise necessary to continue to run the tournament in future years.
Thousands of kids have enjoyed this tournament on their Christmas vacations over these past 13 years and it doesn't just happen by itself. It takes a few people giving back the community to see the excitement of a thousand kids and helping out the "A" level players, who just want to play hockey. The tournament attracts 80+ teams each year.
