Female Initiation/Novice Jamboree
2018-09-06Hockey PEI is hosting a jamboree for all female Initiation and Novice-aged players on September 29th.
Hockey PEI, through Minor Council and the Female Steering Committee is hosting a jamboree for all female Initiation and Novice-aged players.
The jamboree is open to all Initiation and Novice-aged (born 2010 or after) players. All registered and non-registered players are welcome to participate.
"This is a great opportunity for us to celebrate the female game as another season beings", stated Jen MacDonald, Director of Female Hockey for Hockey PEI.
The jamboree will consist of skill development, drills, and mini games in a fun atmosphere. Hockey PEI will group players into teams in advance.
The event takes place Saturday, September 29th, 2018, from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Pownal Sports Centre. The registration fee is $10, and it will be collected at the venue. All interested players must register as individuals. The deadline to register is September 24th, 2018. The registration form can be found here.
