Peewee AAA Abbies off to Atlantics Today

The Charlottetown Minor Hockey Association would like to wish the Peewee AAA Charlottetown Abbies best of luck as the team heads into the Atlantic Hockey Championships today.

The Abbies won bronze at this tournament last year. The Charlottetown Abbies will compete against Nord-Ouest Pionniers (host), the Moncton Hawks (NB), the Bedford Blues (NS), and the TriCom Thunder (NL).

Charlottetown Abbies games are as follows:

• 4:00 P.M. Thursday, April 5th @ Blues
• 1:00 P.M. Friday, April 6th vs. Pionniers
• 9:30 A.M. Saturday, April 7th @ Thunder
• 3:00 P.M. Saturday, April 7th vs. Hawks

The Abbies enter the tournament surging after winning tournament in three consecutive weekends, including the Provincial Championships. They hope the Saturday battle against the Moncton Hawks will be atoning, as it is a rematch of this year's Peewee Spud Final.
