Novice A & AA Information
2017-09-26The following is an update on tryouts and other ice times for ALL Novice players.
Novice A
There are pre-season ice times available for Novice-aged players. The players have been broken into four groups. All registrants after this point will be individually emailed their group. All players who are in AA tryouts can participate in these ice times until the AA team is picked. Novice A teams will be selected following the AA team selection.
For the following ice times, Groups 1 and 2 will be on the ice together, and Groups 3 and 4 will be on the ice together.

Saturday, October 7th at 12:10 P.M. @ Simmons
Monday, October 9th at 5:15 P.M. @ Bell Aliant Centre Rink A
Groups 3 and 4
Thursday, October 5th at 5:45 P.M. @ Bell Aliant Centre Rink B
Sunday, October 8th at 5:15 P.M. @ Bell Aliant Centre Rink A
Wednesday, October 11th at 5:10 P.M. @ Simmons

Novice AA
Novice AA tryouts begin in one week, on Tuesday, October 3rd.
The following is a message from Novice AA coach, Chris Silvaggio:
Hello Everyone,
We are excited to get the 2017/18 minor hockey season underway and would like to ask everyone interested in trying out for Novice AA to pre-register by emailing Chris Silvaggio at chris.silvaggio@gmail.com. Please provide us with the player’s name, preferred position, and contact information (parents' names, email address, and phone number).
The fee for the 5 tryout sessions will be $60.
The tryout schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, October 3rd at 5:10 P.M. @ Simmons
Friday, October 6th at 5:10 P.M. @ Simmons
Sunday, October 8th at 11:30 A.M. @ Simmons
Tuesday, October 10th at 5:45 P.M. @ Bell Aliant Centre Rink B
Thursday, October 12th at 4:30 P.M. @ Bell Aliant Centre Rink B
We want everyone to understand that playing Novice AA has an extra cost and time commitment. As a result, an additional rep fee is budgeted for at the first of the year on a per player basis. Amounts are not known at this time, but historically it can be approximately $500 to $600.
All players attending must be registered with Charlottetown Minor Hockey for the 2017/18 season prior to the first ice time on Tuesday, October 3rd, or they will not be permitted on the ice.
