CMHA Holds 2017 Annual General Meeting

On May 31, 2017, Charlottetown Minor Hockey held it's annual general meeting at the Holiday Inn Express.

The highlight of the meeting was the presentation of awards for the 2016/17 season. This year's award winners are:

Frank Koughan Memorial Award: Kal White, Pee Wee AAA Abbies
Sponsor of the Year:  Little Caesar's Pizza
Volunteer of the Year: Josh Beaton - Bantam A Abbies Head Coach, Bauer First Shift Program Administrator and on ice instructor, on ice instructor for CMHA development sessions
Most Promising Official: Jack MacKinnon
Most Improved Official: Alex MacBain
Most Dedicated Official: Co-winners, Kyle Adams and Zach Geldert
Coach of the Year: Pee Wee AAA Coaching Staff - Head Coach Jeff Squires, Assistant Coaches Cam Duffy, Ben MacDonald, Ryne MacIsaac
Manager of the Year: John McBride, Novice AA Abbies
Female Player of the Year: Lauren Clark, Midget AAA Central Storm
Male Player of the Year: Andrew Campbell, Midget AAA Abbies

In addition to the awards, nominations for executive positions were accepted. Board members for next season are as follows:

Director of Member Services: Doug Geldert
Director of Officials: Vernon Doyle
Director of Finance: Brian Morrison
Director of Team Services: Mark Campbell
Director of Operations: Colin Mosley

Director of Fundraising and Tournaments: vacant
