Public Relations Coordinator volunteer role

Volunteers are an integral part of the Charlottetown Minor Hockey Association and their involvement helps support the success of the teams and the hockey season on and off the ice. We are looking for a person to take on the role of communications/public relations for the CMHA as our new Public Relations Coordinator (non board member).

We require an enthusiastic and creative thinker to assist with the communication and maintenance of the http://CMHAPEI.ca website as well as our social media streams currently using Facebook and Twitter. Familiarity with the following would be an asset:

• Dynamic, motivated, self-starter with exceptional organizational skills
• Superior computer software application skills
  • Goalline - content maintenance & emails, login creation & registration form updates
  • Facebook & Twitter - Monitor content for our social media channels
  • Photoshop / Snagit or other web graphics software
• Attention to detail, accuracy, proof reading with the ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Note: This position is non-paid and will require a police check.
