Gear Exchange Day hosted by Charlottetown Minor Hockey

2015-08-16

As summer on PEI arrives in style, time to think about the hockey season ahead... Time to try on your gear and see what fits and doesn't!

Charlottetown Minor Hockey will be holding a Hockey Gear exchange day Saturday, September 12 from 10 AM - 2 PM at the CARI Complex. If you have any hockey gear that you no longer use, that may benefit another child, please bring it in. We have a large supply of used hockey pants, shoulder pads, shin pads and skates in our storage at the CARI Complex.

We currently need hockey gloves, throat guards and elbow pads, donations of these items would really be appreciated. As for helmets, due to expiration dates we tend not to see very many helmets through our program. No point in having gear in storage at home or at the rink with both hockey associations wanting more children to have the opportunity to play hockey! You may drop off used equipment at Halliwell Consulting’s office – 53 Watts Avenue in the West Royalty Business Park – weekdays between 9 am-5 pm.

Remaining equipment from the "gear exchange day" will be placed in our storage unit at CARI.

There is no fee for this gear, we just ask that you continue to donate gear that you may no longer be using to help more children enjoy Hockey.

For additional information, please feel free to contact me anytime.

Thank You
