2015 Drew Power Award Nominees

On Sunday, December 16^th, 2012 the Prince Edward Island hockey community lost a great leader to a house fire.  Drew Power played his minor hockey in Charlottetown.  He was captain and undisputed leader of the Charlottetown Midget AAA Abbies during the 1997 to 1999 seasons.  An exceptional player with an outstanding work ethic, Drew was inspirational to his teammates.  The Drew Power Leadership Award will be presented to a CMHA member playing in the SPUD minor hockey tournament who best fulfils the following qualities.

• Outstanding work ethic
• Puts team goals above personal goals
• Inspires, encourages, and stands up for teammates
• Loves hockey
• Highest level of commitment

Novice - The entire team
Atom - Chris Koughan
Peewee - Matthew Power
Bantam - Patrick Young
Midget - Drew Gallant

The award will be presented after the Midget final on Sunday.  Congratulations to all the nominees
